Teen Tabletop Board Game Club
Online Tue., Mar. 23rd 5:00pm - 6:00pm
We're bringing back board games...virtually! Kids in 6th grade and up can join us as we play board games together online via Zoom and en.boardgamearena.com. This month we'll be playing Papayoo, a trick-taking game in the vein of hearts and spades. This game features 4 suits of cards from 1-10, as well as a fifth suit of cards numbered 1-20 known as the Payoo suit. Payoo cards are worth the points listed on the card, but you also have to watch out for the dreaded Papayoo; the 7 card from one of the regular suits, randomly determined after the cards are dealt, that's worth 40 points! Be the player with the lowest score at the end of the game and you will be the winner! You will need to create an account on en.boardgamearena.com and join our group to participate. For the best game experience, Google Chrome 10+ or Mozilla Firefox 4+ are recommended. The following browsers are officially supported: Google Chrome 4+, Mozilla Firefox 3.5+, Internet Explorer 11+, Microsoft Edge, or Safari 4+. iPad or similar tablets are also supported. We will send instructions for creating an account and gaining access to the group.
