Event Description:

Curious about the current trend toward a diet of less meat, less dairy, and more vegetables? Of course you are. Join fab food editor Jill Johnson to explore easy and delicious plant-based cooking recipes. Jill will go through the basics of a plant-based diet, reasons why we should eat more plant foods, and creative ways to get more of them into our diet. Samples will be provided.

Jill Johnson is a former food editor for Better Homes & Gardens, has developed and compiled recipes for 5 cookbooks, and contributed to publications such as Midwest Living, Diabetic Living, Hy-Vee Seasons magazine, and Life: Beautiful. Healthy cooking has been her passion for over 3 decades and she has implemented plant-based principles in her own kitchen since 2017.
