Legobot Mechanics Club
West Meeting Room (1/2 of Large) Sat., Jul. 9th 3:00pm - 4:30pm
A fun, laid-back robotics class for kids 11-13 years old. This club is for kids at any level of knowledge in robotics, and we encourage anyone interested to try it out. Instructors are coaches and students from the Johnston robotics team and will teach participants how to build a Lego robot and program it. There will be some chill mini-competitions for fun. Kids should to try to come to every lesson as we will build upon our knowledge, but drop-ins are welcome as well. Snacks and necessary materials will be provided. We will be meeting once a month on Saturdays from January to July from 3pm to 4:30pm. Registration appreciated.

Laser Tag Lock-In Super Reward Party
Archive Room, East Meeting Room (1/2 of Large), West Meeting Room (1/2 of Large) Fri., Jul. 22nd 6:30pm - 8:30pm
*REWARD TICKET AND REGISTRATION REQUIRED* The library is your playground at this special after-hours event. Teens who have earned 500 points in the library reading club are invited to enjoy laser tag, compete in a taste test challenge, earn raffle prizes, play video games, make awesome crafts, try snacks from around the world, and so much MORE! Food, prizes, and fun for everyone! This is a reward party and open only to teens who have earned 500 points in the reading club. Registration is required and space is limited. Registration begins July 15.
