    Registration for this event is now closed. Please email young@johnstonlibrary.com to be added to the waiting list. A fun, laid-back robotics class for kids 11-13 years old. This club is for kids at any level of knowledge in robotics, and we encourage anyone interested to try it out. Instructors are coaches and students from the Johnston robotics team and will teach participants how to build a Lego robot and program it. There will be some chill mini-competitions for fun. Kids should to try to come to every lesson as we will build upon our knowledge, but drop-ins are welcome as well. Snacks and necessary materials will be provided. We will be meeting once a month on Saturdays from January to July from 3pm to 4:30pm. Registration appreciated.

    Our formerly virtual club is returning to in-person meetings! Whether you're an expert player or new to the hobby, we'd love for you to join us! A local board game expert will teach the group how to play different games each month. This month, we'll be playing Jackbox Games - interactive party games that players can control from their smartphone, tablet, or browser. We'll have iPads available for anyone without a device.

    Play D&D with us online via Zoom or in person! Our Dungeon Master, Molly, will be joining us on Zoom, so you can do the same or come to the library and play in person. All levels of experience are welcome! Bring your own character or use one of our pre-made characters. We'll send an email with details about everything you'll need to participate after you register.
